The Gravlev Ådal Route - the Pearl of the Ancient Road - certified for the highest quality of experience.
Experience the newly opened Gravlev Ådal hiking route, which together with REGAN Vest trail makes a spectacular addition to Rebild's popular network of hiking routes. With the impressive 76-metre-long suspension bridge, Skillingbro Underway Bridge, which elegantly connects the Cold War Museum REGAN Vest and Thingbæk Limestone Mines with the iconic landscape around Gravlev Lake and Rebild Bakker, the route offers a unique combination of nature and cultural heritage.
The new, 11.8 km long hiking route has already distinguished itself as Denmark's second best according to the Deutsches Wanderinstitut's recognized rating. The route gives both locals and visitors a unique opportunity to experience the area's rich history and unique nature – from springs to historic bunker facilities.
