Brune Bakker | Stargazing i Rebild National Park

Brune Bakke at Rebildvej is the perfect place to enjoy the night sky.

On the north side of Rebildvej, just a 2-minute walk from the parking lot, you will find Brune Bakke, which is the perfect place to experience both the Summer and Winter Night Sky. If you go to the same spot several times a year, you will notice how the constellations in the Milky Way change their position. Here you can use Nørrekol hill, which is located on the opposite side of the road, as a reference source. During the night sky's "change of season", you will be able to experience and enjoy North Jutland's, perhaps only, star volcano, when the Milky Way stands high above Nørrekol!
